Our TV half hour...

At about 6 every night, after dinner (boat food mmm yum yum) we sit down for some tea or rooibos. This is the equivalent of our TV time. As you can may have guessed there have been endless sun sets on the trip and each one quite unique. It was in one of these very relaxed moments that I finally saw the green flash that everyone raves about. Its that very ideallic moment when the sun's angle comes down to the horizon and hits the stratosphere. The blue of the stratosphere and the yellow of the sunlight mix to form a green. Its a flash due to the movement of the sun. You can only see it when one can see the horizon, there are no smoky browns (i.e. no air pollution or dust particles) and there are a limited number of clouds in the sky. So pretty chancy stuff but very cool to see. (This is my interpretation by the way, so for all you critics out there, crit away)

peaks! I've been talking about this green flash for many years but no one believes me!! unfortunately the fact that you probably had a bit of the crazy-eye after spending 40 days straight on your pirogue unfortunately doesn't give your story much cred, but I believe you chom!!!

Can report that you are not missing ANYTHING at PwC in London!! Can also report that there are only messages from recruiters on your phone... no girls. must be a problem with the network!!

Big-ups to the Trinibago crew. If you get to my village (charlotteville), ask around for 'redeye' - now that man has some stories! Otherwise 'sniper' is a legend too, and 'chariot' is cool as well, just keep him away from any white chicks on the yacht, that man is an animal!! Get hold of Duane at the blue-waters in Speyside on the eastern side of the island if you want a surf! There is good surf in trinidad too!!

Oh ya, and the best mango's in the village are from Tappa's tree!

Keep up the good work, love the blog, awesome writing, what a trip!
